Yesterday, I went to Adventureland for most of the day instead of school. BTW, for those of you that don't live in Iowa, Adventureland is a big deal around here. And then tomorrow, I'm going to my cousin's wedding shower. Her actual wedding isn't until the end of August. Can my life get anymore busy than it already is??

Wow! You're so far from me--I'm from NY. What's it like over in Iowa? I've been to adventure land before, but all the theme parks tend to get jumbled in my mind (Great Adventure, Adventure Land, Six Flags, Kings Dominion, Disney, Splish Splash, Busch Gardens, etc.) I've been to quite a few XD My cousin is also getting married! It's going to be in the city on like June 14th I think (I have no idea, hahaha) I'm also excited because I'm having some people from my college swim team come over this month, I'm going to be in the Coney Island Mermaid Parade, the Wedding, working teaching swimming lessons, and of course swim practice every day. So much to do! There's always a way things can get busier somehow!!!

OK, I spoke too soon. My life CAN get busier than it already is. A few days ago, I auditioned for a play. Luckily, I got a part. Oww, my arm just popped! The show dates for the play are July 17, 18, and 19. My first rehearsal is tomorrow at six pm. And from June 23-27, I have theater camp at the George Daily Auditorium. Oh, an did I mention Wisconsin? I'm going to Wisconsin from June 16-20 for vacation. Unfortunately, I won't be able to post during that time, which sucks. And don't even get me started on the weather here in Iowa. Cold winters, hot summers, and rainy springs in between. I wanted a nice chunk of ice for most of the day.... I like ice.

Like I said, it always manages to get busier! And congratulations--I was in 'Guys and Dolls' and 'Seussical' in middle school(hahaha XD), so I know how busy theatre can get. I'll be in NC the second week of August I believe so I won't be posting as frequently then, but that's a ways off and I'll let everyone know then. I love the ice too--winter is my favorite season. I don't really care for the heat, however I do like the warm rain and thunderstorms. There's nothing better than the rain <3

More like break a leg! Or break a pelvis... There's actually a story behind that one.

OK, I'm just gonna say now that I wasn't actually there when it happened. Back in January when I was in 'Beauty Lou and the Country Beast', one of my friends who was in that play as well told me that story. So, a couple of years ago, one girl fell off of the stage when they were rehearsing for another play. The girl ended up breaking her pelvis. The friend who told me the story said that she wasn't there when it happened, either. This year was my first year in a Missoula Play, and my friend's second year. One of my friends who actually was there when it happened told me about it after Missoula Children's Theater had left Osky. He was in a Missoula Play last year and 2012, but he didn't get a part this year. I wonder if he auditioned for 'Georgiana'... If he auditioned and DID get a part, I'll know tonight.
Update: OK, it looks like he DID get a part, which one, I don't know.

Luckily for me, I've never broken anything (and I hope to keep it that way!!!)
