Hello my lovelies~
I wanted to open up a special section to share some Manga/Anime that really hit home for you--I'm talking top 3-5 choices for well-known works (like Pokemon, Bleach, Sailor Moon, Naruto, etc.)
While many people have heard of these, not all of us have read them--give us your reasons why we should all them immediately to our reading lists, and why you added them to your own!

Black Butler- It's a series about a butler (Sebastian) who serves his child master (Ciel) while fighting crime in the underworld of London. Only the butler is a demon, and his master is the only one who knows. This is a definite must read here... I could probably go on for days about this series. I know this series isn't as widely known as others, but it still has a very large fan base, so it's known well imo. I actually didn't start with the manga until I watched all three seasons of the anime. (BTW, first two seasons follow a COMPLETELY different plotline than the manga, so watch out. Season three was just an adaptation of one arc) The anime was recommended by some of my friends, so I decided to watch it at the beginning of this year. I can't believe I didn't check it out sooner, it was amazing! But enough about the anime.
To be honest, I prefer the manga over the anime. Mainly because they killed off one of my favorite characters in season one and pretty much did it again in season two. (I never said who) Although Grell (my favorite character) gets less appearances in the manga... I cope with it. I will say the first four chapters (aka all of volume one) are kinda boring, but once you trudge past them, it gets better from there. The series is divided up into many arcs, the more recent ones are longer. These arcs are:
Kidnapping Arc (ch. 1-5) Jack the Ripper Arc (6-14) Curry Contest Arc (15-23) Noah's Ark Circus Arc (24-37) Murder Mystery Arc (38-50) Ship Voyage Arc (51-66) Public School Arc (67-85) Green Witch Arc (current arc;86-104)
My personal favorite arc is the Ship Voyage arc, with the Green Witch and Jack the Ripper arcs close behind. Kidnapping arc is automatically my least favorite, but one part in chapter three where some of the Phantomhive servants try to catch mice makes it all worth it xD
(Okay maybe I went a bit overboard with all that... xD)

Awesome! I've actually read a great deal of BB and have watched all the anime for it. It really is a good read/watch, but same as you I appreciate the manga a bit more

Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden and Fushigi Yuugi Byakko Ibun. They are a great historical mangsa. Genbu Kaiden is about a girl named Takiko who become the Priestess of Genbu. And Byakko Ibun is about a girl named Neiran, a half human and half tigress girl who live in Sairou, the series's country of Byakko.
