Guide to playing MMPPP Pitchitto Live Start COMPLETE (Image-heavy){CLICK HERE TO READ MORE} Game starts up, and you’re asked to enter your name (that's my actual name in katakana btw). The 1st theme song will then play. C: After clicking start you’re brought to the MAIN MENU. The first option on the MAIN MENU will bring you to another menu where you can choose FREE PLAY songs (Lucia), CONTINUOUS PLAY (Kaito), and STORY MODE (main trio). Pressing A on Lucia will transfer you to the FREE PLAY menu where you can choose a song to ‘sing’. On the right, images appear of which characters you can use for each song. After selecting a song and character, you get a bunch of options to mess with the level difficulty. I haven’t quite figured these out yet, but round bubble looks like the easiest, cloud bubble intermediate, and spikey bubble hardest. Y'all are beginners anyways, so for now just keep pressing A until the song starts for the easiest level. The actual game play for songs is simple enough, use the arrow and AB buttons as the arrows & images reach the top row. (The left image is the B button, and the right is the A button.) The more accurate you are, the better your character will sing. After playing, you will get a rank (the higher the better) and coins that you can use on MINI-GAMES. Pressing A will bring you back to the FREE PLAY menu, and selecting the other option on the rank screen will let you have the option to add three songs to your FAVORITES. These FAVORITES are saved performances (as in, every mistake you made is there) that you can watch/listen to from the Gaito & Kaito 5th MAIN MENU option. {CLICK HERE TO READ MORE} Back to the 1st option on the MAIN MENU (the mini-menu), Pressing A on Kaito will bring you to a sort-of CONTINUOUS PLAY where you’ll also be given coins, a rank, and the option to save your performance. Clicking on the mermaid trio will bring you to STORY MODE, where you can play through the climax and resolution of each season 1 episode. Keep pressing A for easiest difficulty, then Lucia will give you background on the episode through Japanese text that you can't understand. Then you’ll watch little clips from the episode accompanied by text dialogue. Then a mermaid will transform... ... And you have to defeat the villain by singing a song the same way you do for the other modes. You’ll receive a rank and coins, like the other modes. Then the ending of the episode will play, including the theme song. The immediate highlighted option afterwards will send you back to the MAIN MENU while the other option will bring you back to the STORY MODE menu. When you go to play STORY MODE again, you now have the option to replay previous episodes. {CLICK HERE TO READ MORE} Back to the MAIN MENU, option #2 is pretty useless, so ignore it. MAIN MENU Option 3 brings you to MINI-GAMES and EXTRAS. The BIG MIRROR shows your collected special character pictures, the SHELVES you can later display your prizes from the CLAW MACHINE mini-game, the MUSIC BOX plays music videos with lyrics, the DECK OF CARDS shows your collected special cards, and the STAR MIRROR has 4 MINI-GAMES that each cost 100 coins.
Mini-game #1 is a memory game where you can collect special cards and character pictures if you win the mini-game. Use the arrow keys and A. Mini-game #2 is claw-catcher game where you can win cute little things to put on your shelves. Hold A to move the claw and release A to lower the claw. Mini-game #3 is a card game where you have to guess if your card is higher than the facedown card. If you think your card is higher, click the right option and if you think it’s lower click the left. If you keep guessing correctly you gain tons of coins, if you screw up once you lose it all. Also, aces are the lowest card in the deck. Mini-game #4 is a slots game that earns you more coins if you win. Use A to select and arrows to move to the next row. HINT: THE ROWS DON'T HAVE TO BE DONE IN ORDER Option 4 on the MAIN MENU is where you can make up the words to a song for Hippo to sing (for you to play). Arrow buttons and A change the words. Pressing start will bring up 5 choices, first will bring you back to the MAIN MENU, 2nd won’t do anything, 3rd will let you actually play (giving you the different difficulties to choose), 4th will hear the song out loud before you play, and 5th will change the tune. MAIN MENU option 5 lets you watch/listen to your FAVORITES aka saved performances. MAIN MENU option 6lets you change the cursor & background of the FREE PLAY song selection menu profile page and lets you change your name if so desired. AND THAT'S IT ENJOYYYY

Complete Guide For MMPPP
{CLICK HERE TO READ MORE} Game starts, you’re asked to enter your name, and then the theme song plays. Then you’re brought to the MAIN MENU. The first option on the MAIN MENU will bring you to the choice or FREE PLAY or CONTINUOUS PLAY. In FREE PLAY you can choose a song, a singer, and the difficulty level. Game play is controlled by the arrow and AB buttons and your goal is to accurately match the symbols (arrows = arrows, image on left = B, image right = A) as they reach the top of the screen. The more accurate, the better your character sings. If you do poorly, your microphones vanish and the character on the right makes faces at you. At the end of the song you are given a rank (higher the better) and the options to A) watch your character perform what you just played B) add the perfomence to your FAVORITES, or C) go back to the FREE PLAY menu. {CLICK HERE TO READ MORE} CONTINUOUS PLAY is similar to FREE PLAY in that the game play is identical, but you only get to choose your character and difficulty. The songs are random and are literally nonstop (no break between them where you can choose to quit like Pitchitto Live Start has) and don’t stop until you screw up or possibly go through all the songs (I would assume so but I don’t have the patience or talent to go through all the songs nonstop). Back to the MAIN MENU, option 2 is unusable (both sub options give you the same locked screen). MAIN MENU Option 3 is your FAVORITES where you can go back and watch the performances you saved. MAIN MENU Option 4 let’s you make songs for Hippo to sing (for you to play). Arrows and AB changes the words. Pressing start will give you 4 options: a) brings you back to the MAIN MENU, b) lets you continue to alter the words, c) lets you play the song, d) let’s you hear the song before playing it. MAIN MENU item 5 gives you two choices a) lets you change your name and b) lets you change the cursor and background of the FREE PLAY song selection menu There we go, that’s everything. This game came out a year prior to Pitchitto Live Start so it’s basically a simpler, basic version of it. Enjoy!

A guide for MMPPP Party will go here as soon as I figure out the exact game play in this obnoxiously text heavy game. My knowledge of Japanese consists of a few words/phrases and then half-learned hiragana so it may be a bit of a challenge.

OK, I managed to play MMPPP Pitchitto Live Start on my emulator. I am not the best at it. I can't get the timing right!! DX But I will say, it was fun!! It took me a little bit to get used to the controls and timing, but I think I have it down p well now. My only issue is that I'm using a touch screen (my tableto with its emualtor) so hitting both the A and B buttons at the same time can be a pain in the arse. I really fell in love with the mini-games/bonus things, so I already obsessively collected all the plushies from the claw machine and the playing cards from the memory game |D I'm planning on collecting the rest of the character pictures and beating story mode next. After that maybe I'll go on to figuring out the game play for the Party game, but ughhh so much text that I do not understand. Maybe I'll run it through Google Translate~? I wish Dia would log on- she said she knows Japanese!

I think I'm getting better at the timing now for MMPPP Pitchitto Live Start. Decided to explore the mini games a bit and got two of the plushies from the claw machine. And played up to episode six in story mode.
Also I decided to play MMPPP Party and I think I figured out part of it.
